Davido’s full name is David Adedeji Adeleke and he was born on 21 November 1992. He is an American-Born Nigerian singer, songwriter, and record producer. His music style is special as long as it blends traditional African elements with mainstream pop. Davido has a Net Worth of $40 million.

Davido’s interest in music started while attending Oakwood University and he started to experiment with his own beats and music production. He dropped out of school because he wanted to give all his attention to what he loved the most; music.

Talented Davido won the Next Rated award in 2012 at The Headies after releasing Dami Duro. One year later, in 2013 – 2015 he released plenty of hit singles. In January 2016 he signed a deal with Sony music, which was a huge step in his career as a song artist. After that, he founded the record label Davido Music Worldwide and he had huge success all this time. He is known as the king of modern-day afro-beats and for a reason.

Davido had two huge successes in 2019 and 2020, as long as the New African magazine included Davido as one of the top 100 most influential African. 2019, was also the year when Davido proposed to his beloved wife.

In 2021, when he has his birthday, Davido uploads an Instagram story to ask colleagues to each send him a million naira. He made clear that he received N200m from friends and fans and he added N50million. He donated all this money to every orphanage across Nigeria.

In March 2022 he was featured in FIFA World Cup Qatar, he was actually the first Nigerian singer to be featured in FIFA.

This May, Davido released another song, which is actually something different from the usual hop style of the Nigerian singer.
