Eric Clapton, is an English musician who is seen as one of the most influential and important guitarists in the world. He was at a time ranked immediately after Jimi Hendrix as the second best guitarist of all time by Rolling Stone magazine. The Blackie was made from three vintage Strats which Clapton actually brought from a guitar shop in Texas. After disassembling the three vintage strats, he made use of the best parts to make and customize his own guitar. Clapton made used of the Blackie from 1970 to 1985.
